The Informer: A Newsletter of the African Association of Agricultural Economists

Welcome all to the first issue of the e-newsletter in 2009. The purpose of the newsletter is to promote sharing of information and networking among the members of the Association and the larger research, policy, business and development communities in Africa and the rest of the world. It has a subscription base of over 3000 readers. It disseminates news and communications of recently concluded or on-going research; scholarships and training, funding and job opportunities; upcoming conferences and meetings, various announcements (websites, databases, networks, etc.), publications (books, journal papers, extensions materials, policy briefs, etc.) and any other useful information. This newsletter is supported by a regularly updated News webpage within the Association website. Your comments are welcome through this blog.
